- every proposed procedure prior to the consultation is now out of the plan
- why? because the problem is not just as simple as an isolated case of a blood clot but a chronic, genetic thing.
- what is happening? well, have you heard of the "royal blood"? those who have hemophylia (don't know the spelling sorry). yun yung mga tao na perpetual yung pagdudugo kapag nasugatan. well, in my case, ako naman, yung dugo ko gusto laging bumuo ng clots.
- where exactly are the clots? I have clots from the upper thigh to the upper abdomen area (renal artery ata or vernecaba).
- what should be done? remove the clots. but first, a filter must be inserted in the upper area before the veins enter the heart so that any 'lose' clots won't flow to my heart and cause more complications.
- there are two options on how to remove the clots: by scraping it off or using a special drug. however, there are chances that the special drug won't be able to do the job well, so scraping it off is the best option.
- after the operation, my body will eventually would want to form clots again, so I will take a pill that will prevent that from happenning.
- AND according to my doctor "You're one for the books." Meaning, there is a possibility that my case will be published in medical journals.
